Well here it is the end of July and the summer is coming to an end. It flew by too fast. But I did enjoy every second I got to spend with Brian, Madison, & Beckham. Beckham will be leaving in 3 weeks and we are NOT looking forward to it at all, but we will get him back in 3 months. We were going to have a birthday party for him before he left since he won't be here for his, but he will be back the week before Thanksgiving so we are going to have it then. Since it's closer to his birthday. Man I can't wait til he comes back b/c that means we will only have a few weeks left until Brian and I get married. Oh how i can't wait til that day. It's going to be wonderful!!!!
Well only a couple weeks left of summer for Madison and then she starts 1st grade;-( A Part of me is happy but then a part is very sad b/c my baby is not a baby anymore and she is getting so big too fast!!!! I am trying to enjoy every moment of her life right now when she actual wants me around because the day will come when she can't stand me I am sure. Doesn't every girl go through that stage...not looking forward to it at ALL...that's my baby!!!! I wish I could spend more time with her and be there to take her to school every day and pick her up but unfortunately I have to work!!!! Hopefully one day we will get ahead so I will not have to work, but I don't really see that day in my future;-(
Well I know it seems like 4 months is a LONG time away but really it is not....December 12th will be here before we know it and we still have quit a few things to do for the wedding. Order favors, make sure all girls have dresses ordered, get more decorations, meet with a cake person and finalize that, sit down with the parents and finalize the menu for the reception, also sit down with the MIL and discuss the rehearsal dinner, also finalize the HUGE guest list and get the invitations printed up. But I am going to enjoy every minute of planning our wedding.

We are engaged

Well it's the day we have been both waiting for....a day that Brian has had planned for a while now. I knew it was coming but didn't know when it was going to happen...THE PROPOSAL!!!!!

First of all, for the record...I messed it all up in Brian's eyes, but it mine it was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Brian had original planned for us to go to the beach to watch the fireworks and he was going to do it then, but I insisted we go to the Fairhope Pier. Kristine, Marc and the girls also went with us.

We show up in Fairhope and find a parking spot. We then loaded up all the kids, all toys, and walked down to a pretty grassy spot. When we got there Brian showed me how Beckham only had one shoe on, so he said he would go back to the car and find the other one. Right after he got back Kristine & I walked over to a hamburger stand to get a hamburger, I was HUNGRY!!! As soon as we walked back over to the spot Madison walked over to me and handed me a white piece of paper folded up and said, "Mommy here I made something for you." Of course leave it to me to say "how, I didn't bring any paper down here" she just walked away. (2nd oops) I knelt/sat down on the blanket to look at the paper, opened it up to find a red heart and in the middle said "Will you?" I got a big smile looked around real slowly and Marc & Kristine was looking at me, then I looked behind me to see Brian on one knee with a ring!!! ;-) Still I was sitting down and just looking at him, waiting for him to say something. Then come the BIG question "Will you marry me?" The finally I stood up and walked over to him and said yes and hugged and kissed him. That is a moment I will cherish and remember for the rest of my life. The best 4th of July EVER!!!!!! I am engaged and I have a fiance now!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
